breaking news.. i have gone outside.. and brought some pictures... i am not sure how much this will be updated, i do not think i come across as someone who goes outside in general, but thsi is just a spot to enjoy some photos and information about where i go every once and a while.

hike one. march twenty third

yesterday morning i went outside because it was rainy and nice. i took some photos mostly for my friends but decided to be creative and also put them on the internet but with some dithering and effects for visual interest and etc. i go to this spot to walk a lot!! it was rainign as i walked but i did not really mind (less spiderwebs for me to walk facefirst into)

i am a fan of this moss. awesome. the large evergreen trees help shade the ground so there is a lot of moss and little brush. there are some sections where a few deciduous trees have grown in the middle of the forest are, and from a distance the ground suddenly is a light brown from all of the fallen leaves. there is a weird distinctive split of deciduous and nondeciduous which is really interesting.

one of my favorite photos. earlier in the day i came across paths that seemed to have a darker color on the ground and wasn't really sure why (it almost looked like a path but this wasn't the place where they would be made) anyways down the "hill" i realized that it was the pattern water took. in this photo you can see the streams converge into a little triangle shape in the middle of the photo before continuing down. i took another photo where it widened into what looked like a very small dry stream complete with what probasbly would have been a waterfall-esque ledge but didn't put it here. maybe there is a lot i miss by only going out in weather i like.
